COLLAGE [PARK] CITY

Drawing allows an understanding of context beyond the simple production of content. The daily practice of ‘building and surrounds’ is exchanged for ‘park, infrastructure, and neighbourhood.’ The composition allows for the comparison of scale and grain, highlighting the wonder of how these patterns evolved.

The flâneur sees infinite loops through favourite spaces—a different form of understanding through repetition and experience.

Ink reproduced and rendered with markers and watercolour. A collage of Yarra Park, Tiergarten, El Retiro, Yoyogi Park, and Central Park (and surrounds).

2B or not 2B 2025 exhibition: ‘on the periphery of Architectural thought’

The exhibition raises money to enable for the Sinclair-Nelson Drawing Scholarship, a drawing scholarship for Masters students of the Victorian Schools of Architecture. It’s an annual scholarship and the funds raised in 2024 are funding the scholarship which is being awarded this year and annually after. Accordingly to enable the wider understanding of hand drawing as a part of the DNA of architects and their being.
